Rate coverage
Each row is a bank and each column is a calendar quarter. A filled cell means the data API has at least one rate of that kind for the bank in that quarter. Darker cells cover more days of the quarter. A red outline marks a gap of 3 months or more without any rate.

Coverage is the share of days with at least one rate of that kind. It counts from the bank's first rate of that kind to the data date. The start year does not change it.
Gaps counts the breaks of 3 calendar months or more without any rate of that kind. A break runs from the first day without a rate to the next day with one. Example: no rate from 15 January to 14 April is a gap. The next rate, on 15 April, comes 3 months after 15 January. A shorter break only makes the cell lighter. Every quarter that a gap touches gets the red outline.
Terms in the tooltip is the number of fixed-rate periods, such as 3 months or 5 years, with a rate on at least one day of the quarter.
