Cookies 🍪

We don't set any cookies. None. Zero. Noll. Not a single chocolate chip. There is no cookie banner on this website. This is not an oversight. This is not because we forgot. This is because we literally have nothing to ask your consent for. You're welcome.

Tracking & Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics. We do not use Facebook Pixel. We do not use any of those scripts that follow you around the internet like a lost puppy trying to sell you the shoes you already bought three weeks ago.

Advertising

We don't do ads. We don't "partner" with anyone to show you "relevant offers" based on your "browsing behavior." We don't know your browsing behavior. We don't want to know your browsing behavior. What you do on the internet is between you and your browser's incognito mode.

Social Media Buttons

There are no Facebook Like buttons, Twitter share widgets, or LinkedIn trackers embedded on this site. If you want to share this page, you're going to have to do it the old-fashioned way — copy the URL and paste it like it's 2005. We believe in you.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We don't sell your data. We don't trade your data. We don't whisper your data to anyone at parties. We don't have your data. It's hard to sell something you don't have. Believe us, the business model would be much easier if we did, but here we are, doing things the right way.

User Profiles

You don't need an account to use this website. We don't have profiles. We don't know who you are. If you walked past us on the street, we wouldn't recognize you. The only accounts we have are data API keys. A key holds an email address, a name, a use case and the accepted terms, and nothing about how you use the website. Everyone else: we literally have zero information about you.

Okay, But Seriously Now

All jokes aside, complete transparency matters to us. Here is what we actually do, explained plainly and honestly:

1. Server Log Files

Like virtually every website on the internet, ours keeps log files. These logs may contain your IP address, which pages you visited, and when. They exist for security purposes only — diagnosing errors, preventing abuse, and keeping the lights on. They are automatically deleted after 30 days. They are never used for advertising, profiling, or analytics. They are never shared with anyone.

2. Anonymous Analytics

We use a privacy-focused analytics tool called Umami, hosted on our own server. It helps us understand things like which pages are visited most, so we can make the site better for you. Here's what makes it different from the usual suspects: • It does not use cookies. • It does not collect personal data. • Within a given month, repeat visits from the same browser may be grouped into one session — but you cannot be personally identified. After each month, all sessions reset and every visitor becomes a complete stranger again. • IP addresses are used momentarily to determine approximate location (e.g. country-level stats) but are never stored. • All data is aggregated and anonymous. We see "47 people visited this page", not "Sven from Malmö visited this page at 14:32 while eating a kanelbulle." • The analytics data never leaves our own server. No third party has access to it.

3. Contact Form

If you use our contact form, the name, email address, and message you enter come to us by email, through Google (Gmail). We keep them in our mailbox as long as we need them to answer you. We share this data with no one else. To prevent spam, the contact form and the data API key page use an automatic CAPTCHA from Cloudflare. These are the only pages where a cookie may be set on your device. Cloudflare sets it, not us. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to it.

4. Data API

If you sign up for a data API key, we store your email address, the name and use case you enter, and when you accepted which version of the data API terms. We use this data to run your key and to contact you about it. We keep this data with no time limit. This includes signups whose email address was never confirmed. The data is never shared with anyone.

5. Cloudflare

Our site is served through Cloudflare's network for performance and security. Cloudflare may process some connection data as part of delivering the site to you. They act as infrastructure, not as an advertising platform. See their privacy policy for details.

What We Don't Do — A Summary

Our Philosophy

User experience is king. You came here to compare mortgage rates, not to be the product. We built this site to increase transparency in the Swedish mortgage market — it would be a bit ironic if we weren't transparent about how the site itself works. We collect the bare minimum necessary to make the technology function. Nothing more.
