Bluestep Bank also reported one-year, three-year and five-year averages of 6.84%, 6.08% and 6.20%, respectively. Margin lenders set each customer's rate after a credit assessment, so their averages are not comparable with bank averages and are not ranked.
Not yet published
When we collected the data on 19 October 2026, Ekobanken and Lån & Spar Bank had not yet published their average rates for September 2026. Neither had 1 of 55 savings banks. Under the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's regulations (FFFS 2015:1), banks must publish the average rate no later than five working days after the end of each month.
The average rate is the figure each bank reports for its mortgages with a given fixed-rate period during the month. It does not show the rate you would get, which depends on factors such as your loan-to-value ratio and income. Bolån Radar collects the figures from the banks' websites and cannot guarantee that they are complete or correct. This article is not advice on loans or fixed-rate periods.
